Hometown Boy John Lucasey was born and raised in Alameda and maintains his everlasting love for the Island City. Alameda is where he best gathers his creative space and continues to fulfill his creative dreams. John fell in love with this house the minute he saw it. He felt it's magical bones and knew that with a little high-tech elbow grease and some of his eclectic antiques he could have what he envisioned... a creative, personal space for his recording company, Studio 880. John's company has created productions for American Idol, Beyonce, Green Day and Keith Urban, to name a few. John takes all recorded sounds and edits, blends and transforms them into a finished product. In 2003 he won Mixed Tech Award for Green Day and has been featured in many magazines for his designs for other performers, including the Rolling Stones.
