has a store in Mill Valley... right next door to Summer House! I had no idea that one of my husband's favorite chefs not only lived in Mill Valley but had opened one of the most fabulous cooking shops I have ever seen! It completely took my breath away! It was amazing! The merchandising rocked! It was like going on a treasure hunt of sorts... In the "Library" among the cookbooks, were vintage treasures tucked about. I can't tell you how often I lament that shops that carry mostly new merchandise could use a dose of vintage to really spice it up! I finally found one that "gets it" and let me tell you... it worked beautifully! There's nothing like the tension between old and new to breathe life to a space or a collection.
