The Day before The Tsunami...
was the last day of our vacation on The Newport Coast. We spent it at Crystal Cove State Park Beach. Crystal Cove is a stretch of coastal cliffs and a beach front cove situated between the Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean just north of Laguna Beach. The first thing we saw as we made our way down to the beach was the sight of dolphins frolicking offshore! We stood transfixed... It was an auspicious start to a glorious day. We walked the beach taking in the wonder of the cliffs, rocks, tide pools & sandy coves. It was so pristine and peaceful on this perfect Thursday morning... The tide pools were amazing with their underwater sunflowers, the rock formations... awesome, and the abundant treasures laid out in the wet sand were fascinating. Rocky ottomans dotted the coastline. I'm continually struck at how God's creations are connected and share similarities. A piece of seaweed much like a tree and it's roots. Rock...
