And she pulls it off brilliantly I might add.  This is the hat she wore to The Bouquet to Art where she won Best Hat. Her Italian husband laid these brick floors throughout the "villa".  I just love the old world appeal they lend to the rooms. Il bagno There is an amazing story behind this fabulous sink... while living outside Florence, the Contessa found this ancient vessel lying by the side of the road.  They had it shipped back to the states and the Italian husband fashioned it into a working sink!  It is truly spectacular in person.  A true treasure and a piece of Florentine history! La Contessa's Kitchen & Garden ( click twice for up-close detail ) Take it all in...  as there is a lot to see! No Italian kitchen would be complete without an espresso machine.
