Like Mother, Like Daughter

OK, I admit I was proud but super envious of my mom's amazing HERMES scores a few months ago...   That was until today anyway! While my poor sick hubby was home in bed with the flu, I stepped out to run some errands. Of course one of my stops was the thrift store. When I showed him, he got out of bed to try it on and it fit him like a glove!  Suddenly he didn't look quite so sick anymore! I swear, I'll never get over what people get rid of! It's what keeps me on the prowl!

Unable to get in touch with me she took them up to the counter telling the woman, "you know these are very expensive blouses." The woman responded by saying, "yes, we understand they are worth several hundred dollars but we don't think people here are familiar with that brand."  She proceeded to say how happy she was that my mom was buying them and how lovely they must look on her. ...
