  Continuing on with "Meet the Men in My Life", my partners in Little Shop of Hoarders , I'd like to introduce you to the legendary Ron Morgan . I met Ron many years ago through his partner Tom Burke and instantly became one his many admirers. The best way to describe him is "pure genius".  Not only is he an amazing talent but he is an amazing person and I pinch myself every day that he asked me to join him in his latest venture, Little Shop of Hoarders . I spent Saturday afternoon with an artistic genius who happens to be a dear friend. His name is Ron Morgan.   He ushered me into his workshop where he took out a brush and a can of paint and showed me how to transform a rather ordinary pair of mirrors, that I had sitting in my prop shop collecting dust, with just a few simple brushstrokes. I brought them over intending to spray them a different color, but he took one look at them and declared... "They're Fab!" "I love the color, all they need is a bit more drama". And just like that he dipped his brush into the paint and brushed it into the center of the rings, adding bamboo leaf detail to each one. He handed me the brush saying... "Now get to it!" Many many years ago, before my son was even born, I was treasure hunting with my Mom when I came upon the dishes in the photo above.  They were individually priced but I didn't take the time to add them all up, instead I went up and asked the dealer "how much for all of them?"  She thought for a minute and replied, $80.  I said, I'll take them. A few months later I saw them in Barbara Milo Ohrbach's book, Antiques At Home.  You can imagine my excitement to have my treasure and my eye confirmed in this gorgeous book!  I always buy what I love but many times I haven't a clue of it's origin or provenance which is the best part.   For example, just the other day I was out with my friend, Lisa , when I came across another treasure.  I was in love but again clueless as to exactly what it was.   As I brought it to the register I showed it to her and she said, "what a fabulous biscuit barrel!"  I said, "you know what this is...
