Beautiful. This post made me laugh because just this weekend my husband and I walked into TJoe's and I commented on the peonies and he said "which ones are those?". Such different creatures we are :)

I hope the east coast Traders has them---I would love them for a party we are having next weekend!

I found my bicycle! (my new old bicycle) The funny part is where I found it. Yesterday after finishing my post, " I'm longing for a new bicycle ," I was lamenting to my husband about how badly I wanted a bicycle of my own.  He looked at me and said, " but you have a bicycle."  (our vintage Colombia tandem beach cruiser) I said, "I know, I love the tandem but I would like my own bicycle."  He said, "You do have your own bicycle... remember you bought one at a garage sale late last summer?" The light bulb went off and the memories came flooding back!  All of a sudden I remembered the day I scored my awesome vintage bicycle at a garage sale on Briggs Avenue for $20!  I ran to the backyard where it had been covered up with a large brown tarp for the winter.  I squealed with delight at the sight of it!  I remembered when I bought it it had several small American flags attached to the front basket from being ridden in the 4th of July...

I can just imagine the conversations that would take place in these rooms!   Summer memories are made here and here and here. Rooms with twin beds compel you to have a conversation before nodding off.   (Image via Pottery Barn Kids)   (Image via Elle Decor)   (Image courtesy of the desk of annie)   (Image via Beautiful Things to Share) (Cathy Kincaid)   Some more terrific twins...   (Image courtesy of gracie) (Image via Elle Decor)   (Image via HGTV) (Image via moodboard) (Image via Style Court) (Image via Just Beachy) Don't forget to enter my Giveaway!

Celebrating 28 years

28 years ago today I found my greatest treasure. Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love,  joy and celebration.  Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday.  The hummingbird's delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation. Happy Anniversary Chris I love you madly!
