It's the simple things
Every time I throw a dinner party or a casual get together with friends, like I did yesterday, I realize it's the the simple things in life that are the best.
Time spent with friends, centered around good food, great conversation and lots of laughter does a soul good.
And at the end of the afternoon, I was left with wonderful memories and lovely mementos of a day well spent!

What wonderful flowers. The spider brooch(?) on the hydrangeas is a delightful and unexpected touch!
I have been perusing your last few posts...I love the use of hydrangeas on those planters. Too bad the sun won out!However,they were replaced with objects that are so interesting!
