My sweet niece Sarah is leaving for college today!

She will be attending Santa Clara University, known as the Jesuit university in Silicon Valley, site of the Santa Clara Mission and neighbor to Stanford University.

Mission Santa Clara
Inheriting the grounds of Mission Santa Clara de Asís, Santa Clara University's campus, library holdings, art collection, and many of its defining traditions date back to 1777

I'm so proud of all the hard work it took to get here and I wish her the best!

And it is extra special that she begins this chapter of her life on my birthday!

Good Luck Sarah!

Have fun and don't forget to hit the...

I found my bicycle! (my new old bicycle) The funny part is where I found it. I can just imagine the conversations that would take place in these rooms!   Summer memories are made here and here and here. Rooms with twin beds compel you to have a conversation before nodding off.   (Image via Pottery Barn Kids)   (Image via Elle Decor)   (Image courtesy of the desk of annie)   (Image via Beautiful Things to Share) (Cathy Kincaid)   Some more terrific twins...   (Image courtesy of gracie) (Image via Elle Decor)   (Image via HGTV) (Image via moodboard) (Image via Style Court) (Image via Just Beachy) Don't forget to enter my Giveaway!

28 years ago today I found my greatest treasure. Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love,  joy and celebration.  Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday.  The hummingbird's delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation. Happy Anniversary Chris I love you madly!
