Tied the knot on Saturday.


  The bride's very proud parents!


A gorgeous reception followed at the beautiful Wente Winery.


Stunning floral displays in classic green and white were conceived and executed by the bride's mother and her partner, owners of La Flor Creations. 



We drank and nibbled before sitting down to dine and toast under the stars and twinkling lights.



The head table with the bride's sister helping with the veil and the groom with his identical twin brother and Best Man by his side.

Lizzie looks exactly like her gorgeous mother and her Dad is a teddy bear who has the biggest heart in the world!

HI Terri! WHat a beautiful wedding and cute couple. I adore weddings and always love seeing the pretty details. So much to love here. I adore all their flowers and what a pretty cake. The topper was too cute. Her dress was gorgeous! Wishing them much happiness.

I found my bicycle! (my new old bicycle) The funny part is where I found it. Yesterday after finishing my post, " I'm longing for a new bicycle ," I was lamenting to my husband about how badly I wanted a bicycle of my own.  He looked at me and said, " but you have a bicycle."  (our vintage Colombia tandem beach cruiser) I said, "I know, I love the tandem but I would like my own bicycle."  He said, "You do have your own bicycle... remember you bought one at a garage sale late last summer?" The light bulb went off and the memories came flooding back!  All of a sudden I remembered the day I scored my awesome vintage bicycle at a garage sale on Briggs Avenue for $20!  I ran to the backyard where it had been covered up with a large brown tarp for the winter.  I squealed with delight at the sight of it!  I remembered when I bought it it had several small American flags attached to the front basket from being ridden in the 4th of July...

I'm Celebrating...

My one year bloggyversary! It's hard to believe I've been blogging for a year already.  It honestly feels more like a few months.  I know I've said it before but blogging has been a huge blessing in my life.  It has opened up a portal into this wonderful place we all call "blogland" and has allowed me to find and connect with others who share similar interests and passions.  My most precious treasures have always been the people and relationships I've made throughout my life and over the past year, because of blogging, I have hit the mother lode!      I am forever grateful that I sat down one year ago today and tentatively and nervously wrote my very first post , bravely putting myself out in the blogosphere not knowing what lay ahead... a leap of faith that has forever changed my life for the better!
