LA DOLFINA

Sorry...  it's been awhile since I've put up a new "find of the wee k month". (click on any image for close-up detail)    A pair of brass candelabra... or at least I think that's what they are! They don't hold candles but they are strikingly beautiful and really make a statement.   Close -up of the top section. View of front & back. View of the base. They are solid brass and quite heavy. The leaves and flowers are malleable and can be shaped to your liking. They are approx.  27" high and 6" at the widest point. I am asking $125 for the pair which includes shipping & handling.

If you don't know about Jenny, from MY FAVORITE AND MY BEST ,  or MFAMB for short,  you need to know...  trust me! She is rocking craigslist from coast to coast!  She has the most amazing ability to find the best that craigslist has to offer in any part of the country.  In the past week she has been inundated with requests from her readers for help sussing out items they've been looking for to complete a room or design scheme.  She's been wowing her followers by coming up with things that  many of us would be willing to drive across several states to get our hands on.  It's almost painful to see the fabulous things she finds for almost next to nothing!  The good news is that she is so brilliant at this gig that she is offering her services to anyone who is willing to pay her (so far) nominal fee. If I were you, I'd get over there NOW to see what all the hype is about... you won't be sorry!

The closest thing I have to a daughter is my beautiful niece Sarah. She's going to the Junior Prom tonight! Her Dad, my brother, told her she couldn't go to the "After Party". Maybe next year Sarah... you're just a sophomore! Oh to be sixteen again!

If you haven't been to The Beautiful Life you're missing out.  I only recently discovered it myself and have become slightly obsessed with both the blog and online shop.  The ever so lovely, Ruth Harsham, blog author and proprietress of The Beautiful Life is an absolute delight.   Reading her blog is a joy but could be slightly hazardous to your pocket book if you're not careful... one click and you're transported to her online shop where she stocks Jeanne d' Arc Living Magazines and Decor.
