A Succulent Garden

I promised you a tour of my friend's garden.

 Allow me introduce you to my friend Debbie,  in the background on the left, chatting away with our friend Lisa.

You might remember Lisa's house tour and all the incredible succulent arrangements spread through-out her home and garden.

Well they were all created by Debbie.

She's passionate about succulents as you can see.

She lives in a charming home in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Alameda.

Her property is quite unique as it shares a neighborhood pool with 3 other homes that back up to it each with their own private access. 

Debbie's particular home has always been one of my favorites!

I'm not sure when her love affair with succulents began...

but what is so great about her arrangements besides the composition and her ability to weave several different varieties together are the wonderfully unique containers she finds to put them in.

She's a treasure hunter too!

Her succulent wreaths are stunning.

She even has a succulent wall pocket.

Here is the seahorse & succulent arrangement again along with the others she did for me.

I'm planning to hang this planter underneath my address on the front of my house.  (Maybe I can get my husband to do that tomorrow and I'll show you how it looks.)

She did a beachy look in this pair of shell planters I bought from one my favorite sellers at The Alameda Point.

They are in my backyard on a pair of vintage ceramic elephant plant stands that flank the wrought iron couch under our "chinoiserie"  tent.
