I am LOVING this post- and I totally agree- you can NEVER have too many amazing images of twin beds!!! I love them so much- wish I had a place to put them in MY abode!
Thanks for the great inspiration... posts like this make me so happy! So much beauty in one spot!
You have quite the collection of images. They make for symetry in the space no matter what. I have an old some what plain one that was my father's that I painted pale yellow that we use for my kiddos room. I love it because it was his. ♥O
WOWEE!!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED this post. I am moving and will be setting up a room with twin beds...I'm so inspired! A great pick up during these winter days. Cheers! Agnes
Breathtaking interiors! I love twin beds as well and use to have a pair of antique walnut twin beds when my boys were younger. I can't pick which ones I like as they are all gorgeous. I hope you are well Therese and Happy New Year. best wishes Frances
I always thought it would be fun to have twins. The real kind and the bed kind. I love, love, love this post. Just makes me want to double my pleasure someday!!!

My oh my what a collection! The photo with the large sea fan on the bedside table looks like it could be in your house ;) I love twins (even the Olsens), but two twins decorated so fabulously side by side make me swoon. Just fabulous. Another great round up; another great post!
I found my bicycle! (my new old bicycle) The funny part is where I found it. Yesterday after finishing my post, " I'm longing for a new bicycle ," I was lamenting to my husband about how badly I wanted a bicycle of my own. He looked at me and said, " but you have a bicycle." (our vintage Colombia tandem beach cruiser) I said, "I know, I love the tandem but I would like my own bicycle." He said, "You do have your own bicycle... remember you bought one at a garage sale late last summer?" The light bulb went off and the memories came flooding back! All of a sudden I remembered the day I scored my awesome vintage bicycle at a garage sale on Briggs Avenue for $20! I ran to the backyard where it had been covered up with a large brown tarp for the winter. I squealed with delight at the sight of it! I remembered when I bought it it had several small American flags attached to the front basket from being ridden in the 4th of July...
There is something about single beds... (Image via domino) I would love to sleep in a bunk bed again... if just for one night. I can just imagine the conversations that would take place in these rooms! Summer memories are made here and here and here. Rooms with twin beds compel you to have a conversation before nodding off. 28 years ago today I found my greatest treasure. Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday. The hummingbird's delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation. Happy Anniversary Chris I love you madly!
