Meeting Maria

 It was only a matter of time before our paths would cross. Over the past year or so we've been at the same place but not at the same time.



I'm a big believer in timing and it was on Sunday at The Alameda Pointe Antiques & Collectibles Fair that my friend nudged me and said, "isn't that Maria of Dreamy Whites over there?"  She happened to be in Trinidad's space, Atelier de Campagne, when we spotted her shopping with her adorable daughters Bethany & Nicole.  

There's nothing like meeting a fellow blogger that you love and admire in person.


  She was my best find that day!

Ha - perfect find! Our seasonal flea market - Todd Farm - just opened this past Sunday but the blustery cold kept me home...I guess I will just do a countdown to the Brimfield Fair and hope there is plenty of good stuff to go around! Enjoyed reading your blog!

Hi, I am your newest follower. Actually I have followed your blog for about a year now, but not officially I guess. Anyway, I enjoy reading what you have to say about Alameda. We are sellers there, and one day I hope to meet you in person. I think it is special that you get to spend so much time with your mother. I also enjoy Esate Sales and it looks like you have a lot of fun together. I read the post about Sandy, she and Erika are very sweet and I love The Tattered House. We will be selling at their Spring Antique Market. I wonder if you and your mother are coming? It would be so nice to see you, the show is one of my favorites! Terry ~ P.S. I found my bicycle! (my new old bicycle) The funny part is where I found it. Yesterday after finishing my post, " I'm longing for a new bicycle ," I was lamenting to my husband about how badly I wanted a bicycle of my own.  He looked at me and said, " but you have a bicycle."  (our vintage Colombia tandem beach cruiser) I said, "I know, I love the tandem but I would like my own bicycle."  He said, "You do have your own bicycle... remember you bought one at a garage sale late last summer?" 28 years ago today I found my greatest treasure.
