The Bay Lady

-

Remember this pile of stuff I scored at that garage sale a few weekends ago?

Well the boat handle which was from the seller's first boat, The Bay Lady, is now my new towel rack!

What do you think?

New treasure just listed at

Fabulous repurpose. You are so creative. Spending the week at the beach but not finding any great garage sales like you always seem to!

I found my bicycle! (my new old bicycle) The funny part is where I found it. There is something about single beds... (Image via domino) I would love to sleep in a bunk bed again... if just for one night. I can just imagine the conversations that would take place in these rooms!   Summer memories are made here and here and here. Rooms with twin beds compel you to have a conversation before nodding off.   (Image via Pottery Barn Kids)   (Image via Elle Decor)   (Image courtesy of the desk of annie)   (Image via Beautiful Things to Share) (Cathy Kincaid)   Some more terrific twins...   (Image courtesy of gracie) (Image via Elle Decor)   (Image via HGTV) (Image via moodboard) (Image via Style Court) (Image via Just Beachy) Don't forget to enter my Giveaway!

Celebrating 28 years

28 years ago today I found my greatest treasure. Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love,  joy and celebration.  Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday.  The hummingbird's delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation. Happy Anniversary Chris I love you madly!
