Yesterday my son and I were in the beautiful town of Danville/Alamo where my brother and his family live. We drove out to borrow his tuxedo for my son Chris's Prom tonight.  On our way home I saw this wonderful looking shop and pulled over pleading with my son that I needed to go inside to take pictures for my blog!  He wasn't happy about it and followed me around breathing down my neck and pressuring me to hurry as I snapped away frantically trying to capture all the deliciousness I could.

The heart is made from a galvanized strap from an old wine barrel.
































I caught him in the reflection giving me the evil eye!

The numbers dresser is pretty neat. Three dozen photos no wonder your son gave out the evil eye. No photos for your shop???

Terri, I love this store and garden seed, Robin is a kick and what a character with so much talent. Talk about eye candy. I think Christopher is the best eye candy of all. He looks so handsome and grown-up, I remember prom night with all my boys, it is a big deal!! have fun Mr. Christopher, he is soooo handsome. Don't you love that little house that their shop is in. PROM?! I thought a 9 year old birthday party with 12 little girls at our house on a Friday night was a big deal! This is very exciting. And he looks totally dashing. I'm sure he had a wonderful time :)

Love the peek at your shopping excursion. And I particularly love the mirrored-top table. I always say I'm not much of a mirrored furniture girl but then I see something like this and I totally change my mind...

Your photos are great...almost as good as going shopping with you! Those heart and arrows are the coolest! I can see how a store like that would stop you in your tracks, eye ball rolling teen and all! (but awww, your patient son is adorable!) Prom...! I can only imagine how bitter sweet this will feel when we get there with my own children!

Wait. Was that picture of your son on there earlier ? How could have I missed him ? ( you do know my daughter will be 18 in 2 years... haha ). Yes ... Robin ! I haven't been to the shop in years. I do see her at the Alameda and she says the shop is totally different now ( very girly )

I found my bicycle! (my new old bicycle) The funny part is where I found it. Yesterday after finishing my post, " I'm longing for a new bicycle ," I was lamenting to my husband about how badly I wanted a bicycle of my own.  He looked at me and said, " but you have a bicycle."  (our vintage Colombia tandem beach cruiser) I said, "I know, I love the tandem but I would like my own bicycle."  He said, "You do have your own bicycle... remember you bought one at a garage sale late last summer?"
